The 2022 Royal Rumble is the upcoming 35th annual Royal Rumble professional wrestling live event produced by WWE. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event will air on pay-per-view (PPV) worldwide and will be available to stream through Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally, which will make it the first Royal Rumble to air on Peacock. It is scheduled to take place on January 29, 2022, at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
As is tradition, there will be both a men's and women's Royal Rumble match on the card, with the 2022 editions each featuring a special guest entrant. Actor/stuntman Johnny Knoxville will be in the men's Rumble match, while Impact Wrestling's Knockouts World Champion Mickie James will be in the women's Rumble match.
